It is no longer new that a winery offers us blends (in fact, the variety is expanded every day), nor that the offer is wines with certifications under organic standards. What is new is the combination of both.

From the department of Luján de Cuyo, in Mendoza, Bodega Caligiore is producing this type of blends with red grapes. Since 2001 Caligiore has a vision of sustainable production with regional identity and international projection. Its wines are made from grapes exclusively from own vineyards, all over 900 meters above sea level in the Upper Valley of the Mendoza River and under certification and permanent monitoring according to international standards of organic production by O.I.A. (International Agricultural Organization) .

It is from there that presents us with 4 Fat Cows. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec with lots of character. Tannic strength, round and young. Medium structure, sparkling and with a juicy and fresh acidity. It reminds a lot of leather in aroma and taste. Of course, it has the classic aromas of red fruits and a great finish in the mouth. It is ideal to accompany roasted meats, where it unfolds all its complexity.

Attention is drawn to the design of the label, especially since it is called “Four...” and on the front there are only three cows - the fourth one appears on the back. The design went around the world and was presented in Decanter magazine as an example of the new design of wine packagings from the new world.

Cuatro Vacas Gordas, a unique specimen of its kind, that meets the requirements of today's world exploring new horizons, taking the challenge of creating fun, friendly, young and uncontracturated wines.
