Home Gastronomy Tea or not Tea?

Tea or not Tea?

Tea, so many sizes, colors and flavors... how to choose? Go to the note, which we propose several alternatives for you to choose.

The tea offer is proliferating in business!

So many sizes, colors and flavors... how to choose?

Let's decode  the gondola !

1) Yes or no?

The Argentine Food Code says that, to be called Tea, it must have parts (buds, leaves or stems) of the camelliasInensisl plant. So if you don't say it, it's not!

If you read that the label says “linden, cedron, chamanillao rooibos”, you can prepare a rich tea, but technically, you're not going to make a Te.

2) Aromas or aggregates?

Blends or tees mixed (that is, they are not pure) have additions to make them more attractive to the general public.

Craft tees usually have “aggregates” according to the designer's fantasy. You can find everything from chocolate pieces of  citrus peels, to spices and flower petals!

I chose according to your taste and curiosity.

You can find loose available for sale by grams.

Industrial tees, on the other hand have “aromas of... “vanilla, strawberry , limolen roses...

They are chemical food perfumes that give more health to the product and make them more enduring over time and more suitable for sale in closed packaging. Hard for one of these to polilize you! Hahaha.

3) Expiration?

Like every food, it has an aptitude date for consumption. It also ages and is losing properties and  taste .

Take care of your  health . Buy little every time and try a lot!

Some extra tips

One of the advantages of this wonderful infusion is its versatility. Most of us associate it with the winter season, as an ally to warm the body in the face of low temperatures. The truth is that delicious cold drinks can also be made with tea. They are very refreshing, easy to prepare and keep in the refrigerator. In our country we are not yet used to drinking cold tea, but we recommend you to try a glass of black tea with honey or sugar, a little lemon and a few mint leaves. You can liquefy it with ice to make it frozen. Delicious!
