Rote Grutze

A typical German delight.

Today I present to you my grandmother Oma's favorite dessert. It is a typical specialty of Germany and the Scandinavian peninsula and is the richest red fruit dessert you're going to try. It can be mixed with yogurt or cream and served cold or warm depending on the month you prepare it. ingredients :300 grams of fresh or frozen blueberry300 grams of fresh or frozen cherries, blackberries or currants50 grams of strawberry200 milliliters of water300 grams of sugar4 tablespoons of corn starch Preparation  or  n: Wash the fruits, discaroze them and place them in a bowl with sugar for an hour. Then cook them over minimum heat in a saucepan with water. When the fruits are well soft (almost dissolved), add the corn starch and stir for five more minutes over minimum heat. Place in small bowls and serve. Seasonal Tip: Beetroot plums can be used. In that case, use one kg or combine them with raspberries or strawberries.
