Mendocino sweet potato cake

Papa comes out, sweet potato in. They look like two recipes alike. However, the mendocino sweet potato cake is really unique.

Then heat in a deep frying pan, or in a saucepan,  olive oil , and as soon as it is hot, sauté the onion and bell, adding there the chili and cumin (for guide, 1 tsp. chili pepper and 1 cumin).  When blanching, add the meat. It is necessary to stir from time to time and prevent it from appealing. Cook about 20 minutes. 

While cooking the meat (and still checking it from time to time), prepare the dough by placing flour and salt in a bowl. Mix well, make a hole and added the oil and 1/2 cup of water. Stir with a spoon and, only if it is still very dry, add a little more water.  When you can take it with your hand, place it on the counter and stretch it by hand for 2 minutes to compact well. There will remain an elastic and warm mass. Stretch it in the shape you want to give to your cake.  It can be square, round or rectangular. At this point, it will have been about 20 minutes and the sweet potato will be cooked. Check that it is soft and remove the cooking water to make the puree. Just add a little olive oil and a pinch of salt to highlight its sweet taste. It will fill the mold you have chosen and pour there the filling, which will be ready. Match well.  Place the hard-boiled egg and olives on top, all chopped or cut as you see fit, or to your liking. The important thing is that it goes into pieces . I turned on the oven at 200 degrees or medium heat, if you don't have a very sophisticated appliance, which is most likely. I spread the puree over the cake and sprinkle with cinnamon, if you like it. Do not forget to make a repulgue on the edges. Cook for about 20 or 25 minutes, so that the dough is cooked well. Get to the table right away. This is a  blunt dish , so that the best complement is fresh salads.
