One of the Argentinean Easter traditions, is to give away chocolate eggs to boys and adults! And also the Easter threads, filled with cake cream, and with intense perfumes of yeast and spices. That's why I dare suggest that you try this particular blend.

I'm talking to you about the  Lapsang Souchong,  a  strange and intense blend  .(lapsang = smoked; souchong = peripheral leaves)

A blend of Chinese origin that is no less than black tea, added with smoke perfume! But special woods, which complement and enhance its taste.

There are several legends about its origin, involving camel caravans and the woods they used for their campfires at night, the smoke impregnating the whole load. Even to tea!

There is another one that recounts a journey of the imperial army, doing night in the vicinity of a tea factory, which when camping in its premises, left unknowingly impregnated all the production with the scent of its campfire.

Today special pieces of wood are added during drying, for the distinctive aromas of this blend, and large and ripe leaves are chosen, for their elaboration.

It is SO intense, that it perfectly complements, with the deep chocolate flavor , refreshing the palate for another bite.

Those who enjoy tobacco, usually love it, I use it a lot in the kitchen. Whether it's moisturizing food, or as part of marinades for the roast... or making  syrup  for my  cocktail  !
