ELEVENSIS tea : it is a simple tea, with toast or savory bites , drunk in mid-morning.
CREAM tea : is a light tea, with scons and cheese or cream and sweet, served at any time the afternoon.
LOW tea : it is an elegant and sumptuous tea. Accompanied by lots of pastry and salty snacks. It is a social meeting, usually served at low tables for guests to serve something on their plate and circulate around the room and talk. Served in the afternoon, early, from 3 to 5 pm.
HIGH tea : it's more a dinner. Accompanied by a variety of meals, including meats. It is a family reunion and sometimes put on the table, large dishes, so everyone comfortably eat on their chairs. Served later, almost night, from 7 to 8 pm.
