The High Mountain Festival celebrated its 30 years

The Alta Montaña festival marks a presence on the calendar of the province of Mendoza thanks to its folkloric spirit that remains intact.

It's 30 years of expressing people's art, custom and culture.  The Alta Montaña Festival, in  Las Heras , Mendoza, elevates its Cuyan spirit in tune with lasherino pride.  And it does so in the unique landscape that presents the Villa of  Uspallata .

The event was attended by folk artists such as  Campedrinos; the emblem of our popular music that summons crowds, Chaqueño Palavecino; and the energetic performance of the puntanos of . It is a unique festival in the province and the country and combines in perfect ways the popular roots and identity of an entire village.

 The thirtieth edition 

He reconvened a crowd every night, thanks to the presence of the national folklore icon, Chaqueño Palavecino, but also the youth force of Campedrinos that brought renewed air for the musical tradition of our people. As well as the scenic energy of, which managed to close the festival to the festive rhythm of the popular songbook,  merging cumbia and rock with folklore .

The artistic grid maintained the majority of uspallatino musicians and dancers, along with the arrival of Mendocino folklore figures such as  Sebastián Garay, Los Trovadores de Cuyo and   Las Hermanas Abraham .  On stage, the queen of the Harvest of Las Heras 2020, the uspallatina Candela Ávila, was honored.  

 The food court , with its ranches of typical delicacies of the region, became the great attraction for diners who from the tables could follow the shows step by step on a large LED screen.  Fried cupcakes, meat to the pot,  vegetarian skewers and flame goats were part of the menu to taste with good Cuyana music  .  Craft beer  was a presence through local firms.
