Autumn, ideal for tea

The missionary Rocío Cáceres is a sommelier and tea blender. We tell you what he recommends when it comes to a good cup of that infusion.


Tea has almost the same antiquity as mankind. It has been grown and tasted in every corner of the globe for countless years. They say those who know that tea is more than tea. It's something that is drunk with the whole body and spirit.   From Buddhist monks to grandmother at home recommend a good     cup from time to time   .

Misiones shares a tradition with tea, dating back for at least 100 years.   90% of this infusion is produced in the red earth   , with which it is customary among missionaries to devote 5 minutes to drink it.

  Rocío Caceres   is a missionary, sommelier and tea blender. She assures that the arrival of autumn cold is perfect to enter the magical universe of tea. On the one hand, because this drink, above all the others, has important health benefits. Improves digestion and prevents fluid retention, among other things. On the other hand, because of the pleasure that gives the power to warm your hands and soul with a good cup of tea.

  One tea for every hour of the day  

Caceres explained that there are as many teas as people, each with their particular taste. It can be white, black, green or blue tea. The same thing happens with the time of day. In the morning it is better to drink black tea, which can have some mixture of fruits or spices.   “Intense black tea to accompany with toast or escones is a good way to start your day   . You can add orange and it provides energy,” explained the missionary sommelier.

  In the afternoon   , it's time for white or green tea, it can be in strands or in sachets. Cinnamon, honey, ginger can be added to it. Also, flowers, fruits, herbs and spices. If it is natural and organic, better.

For the autumn season, Rocío Cáceres recommended his favorite tea. A blend of black tea strands, cocoa husks, cinnamon and red fruits. Delicious!
