5 Kings Day traditions that no one questions

Every January 6 the boys prepare to receive the long-awaited gifts.

The Day of the Three Kings, in our country, is a celebration that mainly takes into account the youngest of the house. Therefore, there are several traditions that are unquestionably followed, although sometimes they don't make much sense. We tell you what they are.

  1.  Write the letter.  We sent the letter to Santa Claus to the North Pole, but what address is the Kings? Who knows where they live?
  2.  Leave the shoes . Next to the shoes, we also leave water and grass for the camels. The Kings, however, no one considers them: are they not thirsty?
  3.  The threat . A good resource of parents is to warn that if children do not behave well, instead of gifts the Kings will leave them only a little coal. Luckily, no one is so cruel to put it into practice.
  4.  The surprise, in the morning . Santa Claus arrives at 12 at night, but we don't wait for the Kings awake: we wait until the morning of January 6 to open the gifts. This avoids uncomfortable costumes and dangerous climbing around the roofs of houses.
  5.  The thread of Reyes . It's pretty similar to the Easter thread, and it's more than anything an excuse to keep eating a little more after the end of the year holidays.
