The German Hospital will perform games and a balloon release for the day of Childhood Cancer

Games, entertainment and a balloon release will be held this Friday in the garden of the Maternal and Child Center of the German Hospital, on the occasion of the International Day of Childhood Cancer, which is commemorated every February 15, said the health center.
The activities, which will also be part of the Maria Cecilia Foundation for the Help of Cancer Child, are aimed at the community in general and will be free of charge, he said in a statement.
The meeting will take place between 11 and 13 in 1640 Pueyrredón Avenue.
Childhood cancer is a generic name for a group of diseases of different evolution and prognosis.
Leukemias, lymphomas and tumors of the central nervous system account for 70% of tumors in pediatrics, while according to data from the National Cancer Institute (INC), 1,300 to 1,400 new cases per year are diagnosed.
