El Impenetrable is a region of native forest in the northwest of Chaco province. Approximately 60,000 people live in this area; many families who go through delicate situations: that they may have days without eating, who do not have access to a hospital or clinic, that to mobilize have to travel kilometers and kilometers of roads that can be blocked by a simple drizzle. completely, leaving them isolated from everything they need to survive.
Since she was little, Lydia learned to give a hand to those who need it most. When he came to live in Buenos Aires, knowing the needs that affect these people, he created a group called Enfermeros Solidarios de Pilar. It is a community that initially consisted of colleagues from Lidia, but over time more and more people were added. Their common goal is solidarity with each other.
Lydia visits the Impenetrable three times a year with a truck full of donations, mainly non-perishable food and medicines : things we get to around the corner, for them involve days of travel.
If you want to contact Lidia directly at 011 (15) 6528-9588 or their Facebook group.
