Once again, technology becomes an ally in times of pandemic . In Comodoro Rivadavia (Chubut), they created a solidarity map of the city, which seeks to unite, support and connect all citizens in these circumstances. And yes, in Argentina there are wonderful ideas like this recent technological creation!
The promoters of this proposal were a group of graduates from the National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco , who — from their different professions and social roles — put on the shoulder this project that is already a fact!
The solidarity map of Comodoronació with the decree of Preventive and Compulsory Social Isolation. The purpose was keep comodorenses connected to community aid centers , in order to create a solidarity network to assist neighbors who are most affected by the situation.
In addition, a second purpose of the project is recognized, which is provide information to families who need a plate of food or snack about the places they can approach.
So, by entering the website https://comodoroayuda.com/, anyone can access the solidarity map of Comodoro and make a donation or offer some kind of assistance. It provides information on canteens, picnic areas, community centers, containment centers and foundations. Not only are the locations obtained, but also contact details and solidarity project they carry out. In addition, the website provides information on the location of the city's CPB (Centre for Barrial Promotion) and public health centres.
In times of crisis, this type of solidarity proposals not only add up, but also unite. And, as they say, it's time to take care of each other and stay together . Surely the initiative will be an inspiration for other municipalities in the country to implement it as well.
