The third charity event organized by the Julio Bocca Foundation, Manos en Acción and the Children's Trust arrives.
For the third year in a row, the Julio Bocca Foundation , Manos en Acción and the Children's Trust will hold the Grand Gala for Children , a solidarity event whose funds are intended to improve the quality of life of more than 2200 children in vulnerable situations. The meeting, which will be attended by leading figures of the show and sports, will be this Saturday 24 October , starting at 19 hours, via streaming with free admission.
The Grand Gala for Children is an extraordinary cultural event for the full benefit of the three organizations that support different solidarity programs of each NGO, through which food, education , health and scholarships for children and their families. And this year, that help is very important.
With the lead of Verónica Varano , top level artists from Argentina, USA, Australia, Mexico, Cuba, Chile, Uruguay, Spain and England will participate. Among them are Marianela Núñez, Adriana Varela, Patricia Sosa, Sandra Mihanovich, Tute Humor, Ciro Tomayo, El Ballet de Santiago (Chile), Natalia Berrios and José Chido, Washington Ballet (USA), Gilles Delellio and Gian Carlos Pérez, National Dance Company of Mexico, Ana Elisa Mena and Roberto Rodríguez, Queensland Ballet (Australia), Yanela Piñera and Camilo Ramos. Spanish National Dance Company, María Muñoz and Álvaro Madrigal, Polish Nationale Ballet, Elisabetta Formentor and Ryota Kitai, National Ballet of Cuba, Annette Rodríguez and Danny Hernandez, Stable Ballet of Teatro Colón, Camila Bocca, Alejo Cano, National English Ballet. During the transmission we are greeted from outside: Paloma San Basilio, Gabriela Sabatini , Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, among others. In addition, Sebastian Wainraich will conduct an exclusive interview with Mr. Julio Bocca in connection with Uruguay.
The summoned participate in a totally supportive way, with the sole purpose of making the Grand Gala for Children an unforgettable encounter. An event that year by year adds more people who want to help those who need it most . While the companies Vonharv, Itaú Bank, Otowil, Skytel and Kaufer also contribute their stuff to make it a reality.
The Grand Gala for Children has won the 2019 Daia Awards in the Art and Culture category, and for two consecutive years it has been declared of Cultural Interest by the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
The Julio Bocca Foundation has various social programs linked to the offer of top quality shows throughout the country for the benefit of NGOs, special classes in classrooms as the axis of social inclusion, and bringing art to vulnerable neighborhoods with aim of arousing interest in art in communities that cannot access by their own means, and the incorporation of scholarship students to the School of Musical Theatre and Dance, which the system leaves out because they do not have the necessary financial resources.
During 2019, 28 non-profit organizations, institutions and cooperatives benefited from the dance performances provided by the Julio Bocca Foundation. While more than 3200 people, including children and adults, received concrete help through the funds raised at the solidarity events . More than 250 children from vulnerable neighborhoods have visited the classrooms of the Julio Bocca School to take dance and musical theatre classes for free , every Sunday of the last year. Classes are also intended for special children. A space where teachers encourage them to discover the world of art.
With more than 70 percent of the students awarded scholarship, the Foundation promotes an integrated society in opportunities .
