A soybean oil refiner and bottling plant represents a potential job growth for the city of Perico, in the province of Jujuy. This development project comes as a result of joint work between the public and private sectors.

The National University of Jujuy (UnJu) and the firm Gheragro will be the protagonists of this project. Both institutions are already advancing on a collaboration agreement within the framework of the physical refining and bottling project of soybean oil, which the Buenos Aires business group plans to establish in the free zone of Jujeña city.

To carry out the project of the refining and bottling plant, meetings were held between the authorities of the University and the company. The rector of the UnJu, Mr. Rodolfo Tecchi, held a meeting with Augusto Gherardi Arbizuand Jerónimo Gherardi Cangiano, from the Gheragro company. They were also part of the meetings Sandra Giunta, Cecilia Heit, Marcelo Janín, Consuelo Gómezand Patricia Luna Pizarro, representing different scientific sectors and technical.

Joint actions to carry out the refinery of oil will be carried out with the aim of promoting the training of the hand of local work. Another key factor is to encourage research and development of new products, taking advantage of the resources that the province of Jujuy. Like part of the project, in the end, is expected to install a extraction of essential oils.

Gheragro

Gheragro is a member of a business group in Buenos Aires. Between its main activities is the extraction of free soybean oil Hexane. This is why the company plans to make a substantial investment in the Free Zone of Perico. The installation of its refinery plant and soybean oil bottling machine would have the highest quality standards and ecological certification, which makes clear its commitment to nature and the environment.
