Every December 8 is celebrated in Argentina, as well as in many other countries such as Spain, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, etc., the Immaculate Conception Day. In some places, even, it is an immovable non-working day.

Why is it a holiday? Because the Church commemorates the birth of the Virgin Mary. Actually, the day Jesus' mother was conceived free of sin and guilt.
