With the participation of 12 people, over 50 years, the tango workshop began, by teacher Jael Gutiérrez.

In the first class we worked on the first steps of dance, the basic notions of walking, how to manage body weight, communication with the dance partner, how to understand the partner's body and thus be able to move into space and take care of the partner to avoid shocks.

On the other hand, the teacher stressed that “these activities are very important for older adults because of the benefits generated by movement in this dance since they are not impact. In addition to reuniting with dance and music that was popular when they were younger, attendees socialize and share a moment of recreation and recreation that keeps them active.”

The teacher clarified that attendees can still be added to learn to dance or improve the knowledge they already possess.
