A catamarqueño quarteter in Luna Park

The Luna Park is an iconic stadium for the musical and sports culture of our country, and everyone who carries out any such activity has the dream of arriving at Luna Park, where historical characters of  music passed through, sport and politics. I dream that the catamarqueño Damian Cordoba would fulfill. The  quarteter  known as the “Wacho” announced that by the end of 2020 his work will reach the Moon.

The 32-year-old singer was born in San Fernando del Valle de  Catamarca . The quartet is very popular throughout the country, but in that province — like others in the region —  folklore  has greater influence. The quartet is part of the Cordovan DNA, this led to Damian Córdoba moving to that province of the unmistakable tone: Córdoba adopted the catamarqueño Córdoba.

He made the announcement at the press conference he gave after his presentation at the Peñas Festival in Villa María. In addition, the quarteter said he would celebrate his birthday in an important place in  Cordoba , sliding that the chosen place would be the Orfeo Superdomo, a key place for the Cordobeses.

The catamarqueño quartetero is the only one with perfect assistance in Villa María.  Damián Córdoba  has been performing consecutively on the mythical Cordovan stage for eight years. The artist has recorded 25 discs and three DVDs; surely his presentation at Luna Park will mean a new album in his career.

Damián Córdoba can boast that most of the songs he sings are his authorship. Many of them are already part of what popular culture calls “classic themes.” The catamarqueño quarteter has everywhere part of the history and culture  of the valleys capital , but with a Cordovan accent.
