The Argentine sevens team had a great second day of competition in Cape Town

The Argentine sevens team had a great second day of competition in Cape Town and took the Challenge Trophy, after beating Samoa in the final 38 to 14. Previously, those led by Santiago Gomez Cora had defeated Kenya (34-31) and Canada (24-14). In the final against Samoa, Argentina started better and with tries by Bazan Velez and Sábadto got up quickly. Samoa managed to tie with two Motuga tries, but on the end of the first half, Roura marked the conquest (21 to 14) that would be the break of the match. In the complement was all albiceleste and the differences were reflected in the marker. The tries of Mendy, Revol and again Sábato and Bazán Vélez, rounded off definitive figures and drew a smile of satisfaction in the members of the team It was a different day for Los Pumas 7s, after what happened on the first day of competition. By adjusting some details and demonstrating that they can beat any team if things go as planned, Gaston Revol's captains finished in the best way in a contest that had Fiji as a Gold Cup winner.
