I am lucky to live together every day of my life between chickens and yawners whose main mode of rivalry is jokes. I'm lucky enough to love football. I'm lucky to go to the court with friends and family. I am fortunate to share matches between different social classes and sing, shouting, shouting, exchanging cookies and treats and checking that those who have the least are more able to give.From a psychoanalytic perspective, sport is one of the possible ways that human beings have to sublimate the violence that every community has. For many Argentines football occupies a primary place in their lives to channel the most primitive impulses that we all have to a greater or lesser degree. The Copa Libertadores final was not postponed by the aggression that Boca players suffered, nor does it have to do with the confrontation of our two most important football teams. The final could not be played due to the absolute lack of security and the inoperability of those responsible for providing the conditions of care for both players and inflations.For those sectors of violent thought in society that ask “hard hand” as a solution to violence, they were fulfilled. They screwed us indiscriminately into palazos and sprinkled us with pepper spray as if it were an environment deodorant. Simply because we were close to the micro that took Boca players in our attempt to enter the court without the slightest control of tickets or ID or nothing.What happened is not a sick society, it is not about football, nor the bad image we give to the world, nor were they about fifteen “misfits”. It was intended to have deliberately left violent people uncontrolled willing to destroy everything. It was thanks to incompetence, inoperability and disintelligence on the part of those who should protect us and do not take charge of complying with the most minimal and basic security measures. Freedom and Libertators continue to ruin us.
