It is important to recognize the artist for his talent and virtuosity, but this is only part. True growth as an artist is to develop the craft in conjunction with his own growth as a person, where the real foundations are. Understanding a trade based, knowing it in 360 degrees, makes a lawyer and an artist or trades in appearance quite different, are not. Because humanity understood in its method of progress, walks similar paths, it differs only in the “words” or codes, which are specific to each professional. Examples of activities, although apparently dissimilar, as football player, software engineer, airplane pilot, etc.. or a plastic artist, as is my case; there is something transversal that equals us all in the pursuit of progress and the claw put into such a profession. The example is how philosophy, religion, psychology are related..., they only change in nuances often almost superficial, which make eternal discussions. In essence everything resembles, and “pure art” impacts transversely when it has that “primitive” force, so called by its authenticity, which is what unites and gives it that massive force. If the profession is vocation, they all relate, including art! And yes, of course, this happens in any trade or professional activity. If we talk about boxers, to name a sport, there are more technicians or more fighters; that is: wilder or primitive in their actions. Like artists: there are more technical ones, (constructivist geometrics) or other more blood (Van gogh, Pollok, etc). Being primitive or authentic in action and educated in training, makes the true professional as well as the artist. The proportions of how much in each of them makes to styles; but they are all good if both requirements are met. ArTE @rte ArTE
