Never stop looking at me please , it is a comedy written and directed by Bernardo Cappa in collaboration with Pedro Sedinsky. The work refers to the desire and the need to be looked at; and to the despair and possible tragedy that entails the possibility of not being.
It shows a familiar portrait of actors in which relationships are woven by secrets, frustrations, loves, infidelities, lies and grudges. In the evolution of the story appear both latently and manifestly, quotations or references that evoke the work " The Seagull” by Anton Chekhov , an author who made the interaction of the characters prevail and the ways of linking themselves from their psychologies, over the argument itself. While Chekhov sets up a scene framed by the prudence and decorum of the time, Cappa delves us into a world full of impulsivity, where violence and sexual seem to have no veil at all. A contemporary world where egos only look at themselves and pretend to be the only object of each other's gaze. The actors spare no resources to display emotions of extreme anguish and in turn make us laugh.
“Never stop looking at me please” manages through the theater of absurdity, to generate a fun and tense climate, addressing tragic and dramatic issues.
The exhibition is presented every Friday in a beautiful theatrical space called " The dressing room of the muses " located in what is known as the " off Corrrientes “. In addition, it has several theatre halls, art exhibitions, workshops and various cultural activities. It also features a delicate rest/bar ideal for before or after the performance.
