Chapter 7: Patio del Aljibe

Oriented towards   Yrigoyen  Street, in plans of the nineteenth century this site appeared as the courtyard of the cistern. It was closed, roofed and subdivided into small offices for a long time. Rescued, after years of having lost his status as a yard, he was put in patrimonial value. There was a solid Carrara marble brocal with iron raised from the mid-nineteenth century coming from the old stay of the   Mariano Moreno  family. It also has an original 1903 cast-iron bench with naturalistic ornamentation and the polychrome   National Shield   in its center.
