Countdown to the U20 Rugby World Cup in Argentina

The event with the future stars of international rugby will take place from 4 to 22 June 2019

As part of the World Cup for Children under 20 that will take place in our country in June 2019, a press conference was held at the UNL ATE hotel in Santa Fe, in which the President of the UAR, Marcelo Rodriguez participated. The meeting with the future stars of international rugby will take place between 4 and 22 June next year, and the venues of the matches will be the synthetic turf court of the Rosario Racecourse and the CRAI clubs in Santa Fe and Old Resian in Rosario. The Pumitas led by José Pellicena will join Group A together with France (current champion), Wales and Fiji. The national cast will debut against Wales in Rosario on June 4, while the 8 will face the island team in Santa Fe. Finally, on June 12 he will close his participation in the qualifying stage facing France.
 “ An event of enormous hierarchy awaits us. I am grateful for the commitment and support, not only of the unions, but also of the Government of Santa Fe. We are going to live a great life experience and it is a strong message that will leave this tournament. We have a great opportunity and we want this world cup to be the best tournament ever organized,” said Rodriguez, who added: “World Rugby has trusted Argentina to hold a major event. Let's see great talents that in the very near future will wear the shirt of their senior selected.” 
In addition to the President of the UAR, also present at the conference: Esteban Fainberg (President USR), Gonzalo Crespi (URR President), Jorge Bruzzone (UAR Councillor) and Pablo Farías (Minister of Government Prov of Santa Fe).
