The date will be 23 June. On that day the first “reverse round” of business in this field will be held in the province. This is an activity that has been jointly organized by the national chamber of bulk wine and the organizers of the World Bulk Wine, a fair held every year, for a decade, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
The camera is barely a year old, but ambitious targets are set. The project involves Argentina capturing between 8 and 10 percent of the global bulk wine market. That would be between 250 and 300 million litres.
The crisis generates opportunities and, in this case, the overstock that is being sought to confront with measures of the provincial government (the Legislature voted a countercyclical fund to give economic support to the sector), can also be attacked with entrepreneurial strategies.
