Through this new model of care and financial office, Santander Rio will promote the meeting and collaboration between entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs SMEs, generating spaces for new businesses and making technology available to them. The new space integrates cafeteria with the possibility of operating financial services, also offers the possibility of booking rooms for co-working, free wi-fi for any device (cell phone, notebook, etc.), extended hours, discounts and benefits with Santander River and Todo Pago cards (30% in cafeteria consumption) for clients of Santander Rio), an island with digital banking services, card delivery at the moment, the possibility to operate by ATMs with extraction limits of up to 50,000 pesos and, from March, talks and events designed for entrepreneurs.
Work Café users, whether they are bank clients or not, will have the possibility to interact with a Santander Rio consultant through videoconference for the registration of new products or, if they prefer, access an executive in person, who will advise them through tablets or smartphones. In addition, payment by electronic means will be encouraged to accompany the digital evolution (payments with QR code or with All Payment).
With this initiative, Santander Rio bets on being a partner for entrepreneurs, SMEs and companies in Argentina. The Bank provides them with work spaces to promote a new stage in the interaction between clients and financial services. From the customer experience, Work Café will promote that customers “want” to go to the bank, not “have” to do so.
In March 2019, Santander Río plans to open a second Work Café in the province of Córdoba. In Chile, Santander has been a pioneer in the opening of Work Café since 2016 and already has almost fifty stores (Work Café is also present in Spain and Brazil).
Santander Río is running its 2017-2019 investment plan for more than $20.2 billion, which includes investments in technology, branch modernization and new corporate building in the Barracas area, in San Telmo.
