Pay today, I consumed tomorrow

Future purchase is one of the few tools that Mendoza shops have today to cope with the coronavirus crisis.

Business and Enterprises

Mendoza businesses are not alien to the economic crisis that has triggered health measures to confront COVID-19.  In the gastronomic sector they say that, as of today, there has been a drop of 80 or 90% in its turnover . In addition, this item is hit everywhere.  It's just that, with so much free time, people begin to discover culinary skills they did not know and  cook  their own food, at home.  Thus, the locals that chose to offer their products with home delivery are left without mitigating before the difficult economic situation. We tell you what future purchase is all about.

As always,  crises  and hostile economic panoramas arouse inventive. This is the case with the  “future purchase” system or the issuance of vouchers. Almost like an investment tool.  Almost like having a voucher issued by the State, although gastronomic  venues  will meet in time and form.

 How does it work?

Each venue has its own way of carrying out this measure. Most do it for their social networks.  Anyway, there is a websitecreated solely for this, where hundreds of shops from all over the country are registered.  Either way, the target is the same.  The customer pays today for a product they will consume when the quarantine is lifted  or, at least, is considered an exception or essential activity to which the premises where I have made my purchase today.

From the economic side, they seem to win both sides.  The micro or small business entering this can be done with liquidity today.  Face today's cost of service, rent and salaries. On the other hand,  the customer will be consuming, when the time comes, certain product or service at a past price. And we know that, in our country, that translates into “a cheaper price,”  for an inflation issue and blah, blah blah.
