National Parks and Scouts agreed on volunteers and environmental protection campaigns

The  National Parks  Administration (APN) and the civil association Scouts of Argentina signed an agreement to conduct volunteering, training and dissemination and awareness campaigns in areas protected, reported the first agency.
The agreement, signed by NPA holders, Eugenio Bréard, and Scouts, Marina Rustan, aims to “cooperate and assist each other in educational and environmental care activities,” the NPA explained in a statement.
“ The actions shall consist of the development of  volunteering  and community services in the areas under the jurisdiction of the NPA, as well as workshops and training in the field of education  environmental “, they specified.
It will also facilitate “access by Scouts groups to protected areas for specific activities and collaborate on research projects to foster the link with science and nature,” they added.
Likewise, “Joint dissemination, awareness and prevention campaigns aimed at promoting  responsible tourism  and the values of conservation and care”, they completed.
