Eco Fest: Cordoba beats green
On the weekend of 22, 23 and 24 November, the Eco Fest is held for the first time. It is a festival where social organizations, companies and state entities converge to generate training and recycling policies. From small entrepreneurs to students from different schools , they are on the move. The idea is that as many people participate, and that these meetings continue to be held for the environment. It is going to be held in the Fairground. It is organized by the Rural Society of Córdoba together with the Municipality of Malagueño and the Fundación Consumo Ambiente.
The National Environmental Expo will have more than 80 seats. And all attendees will be able to enjoy the exhibition of projects, interactive spaces, workshops and recycling activities . In addition, it will be sectorized, and the topics addressed will be fashion, art and gardening. There will be a foodtruck area, with different options for every taste. The musicalization will be live, many bands will share their art with the audience.
Institutions such as the National University of Córdoba (UNC), the Provincial University (UPC), the CONICET and Rotary International will also present projects. And they support the event.
Recycling and sharing
It’s not just about recycling: the entrance will be a non – perishable food and some material for recycling. The options for materials are taps, bottles, papers, tetrabricks and glass. Food collected will be donated to canteens, picnic areas of vulnerable sectors. The idea is to combine recycling with stock solidarity.
On the main stage some bands with recycled instruments, there will be shows by Biodanza and DJ Gus Ferro. There will also be live muralism activities, bodypainting, yoga, among others.
Cordoba will be puts the batteries and activates everyone so we can recycle. Do you catch yourself?
