Awareness of responsible consumption in order to preserve the environment is growing. By modifying small habits we can achieve a great saving of energy, and also of money. We leave you 7 tips to start incorporating into you daily life.

  1. Lamps. Use energy-saving lamps, which save up to 75% energy.
  2. Air conditioning. Increase the temperature of the air conditioner from 23º to 24ºC. This means 7% savings on electricity.
  3. Heating. If you have central heating, adjust the thermostat to 20°C. Each grade you raise represents 7% more energy consumption. Besides, I ran the curtains and take advantage of the sun coming through the windows to warm up.
  4. Water. Don't run the water without needing to. If you avoid doing it twice a day, you will save 6,000 litres of water per year.
  5. PC and TV. Turn off the computer if you're not using it. While you're hibernating, you spend 70% of your daily consumption. Do not leave the TV on stand by as it consumes unnecessary power. Turn it on only when you go to see it.
  6. Chargers. Avoid leaving battery-powered electronics chargers plugged in when you're not using them.
  7. Kitchen. Cover the pots while waiting for the water to boil. It will heat up faster and you will consume 20% less gas.
