The province of Misiones is a natural paradise . It is enough only to open the door to the house so that the powerful emerald green nature becomes present in all its glory. Every corner of the province is a good excuse to enjoy a pleasant outdoor activity . Here we tell you 3 of them.
The 7th Kayaking Meeting and the 1st Provincial Canoeing Festival were held in the city of Apóstoles . This was developed for 3 days, on the edge of Chimiray stream. The stream marks the boundary between the provinces of Misiones and Corrientes and flows into the Uruguay River . The browned water plus the dense vegetation create an ideal landscape for this type of activity .
The event was attended by schools and boating groups from all over the region. Boating groups from Corrientes , Chaco and several towns in the province of Misiones attended. In addition, talks and survival training on the mountain were provided by the Monte 30 Infantry Regiment.
In the city of Posadas, the “Nature Walk with Bird Watching” takes place fortnightly in the Arroyo Itá Reserve . This activity is free and free. It is organized by the Agencia Posadas Turismo (APOstur) and the Club de Observers de Birds Tangara (COA). The Paseo also has the collaboration of staff from the Environment sector of the Binational Entity Yacyretá (EBY).
At the start of the tour a check list of birds is delivered to the attendees. This serves as a guide to identify the more than 170 species of birds in freedom of the Reserve. In addition, binoculars and a spyglass are provided, on an approximate two-hour walk. The activity is coordinated by the COA Tangara and assisted by staff of the Apostur.
On Friday, January 24, the fourth stretch of the Costanera in Posadas was the scene of “Código Arte”. A space in which various local artists presented their productions to the public outdoors .
The initiative was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Municipal Tourism. The main objective was to promote the artistic circuit of the Municipal Museum of Fine Arts Lucas Braulio Areco. We also sought to show citizens the live works done by painters, sculptors, photographers and musicians, among others.
